- A Consortium Management Firm (CMF) is a critical link between Government and Industry. The CMF provides administrative support to the consortium. This includes: planning consortium events, outreach and advertising of EMC² and LEAN Power projects, and managing awarded projects.
- Advanced Technology International (ATI), a not-for-profit corporation, is the consortium management firm for EMC² and LEAN Power.

- This agreement governs the rights and obligations of members in the EMC² Consortium and LEAN Power Network as they relate to the organization and operation of the Consortium. The Consortium Member Agreement is available for view here.
- EMC² and Lean Power Network membership is limited to US companies or US-based affiliates of foreign companies.
- There are no annual membership fees and there is no initiation fee to join.
- Our Member Portal contains solicitation information, the latest information on Government requirements, meeting proceedings, etc. If your organization is a member of EMC² and LEAN Power Network, and you do not already have a log-in, you can request one here. The Primary POC for each organization must approve all requests.
- All new members are added to our email list.
- It is best to apply early to allow enough time for the application processes. Postponing membership until a Solicitation is active may result in unforeseen delays and the inability to submit a proposal.
- A nontraditional defense contractor means an entity that is not currently performing and has not performed, for at least the one-year period prior to the date of this application, any contract or subcontract for the Department of Defense that is subject to full coverage under the cost accounting standards prescribed pursuant to section 1502 of title 41 and the regulations implementing such section.
